Puppy Foundation Training

Have you just bought a puppy?

Is it your first or are you an experienced dog owner?
Are you interested in teaching your dog more than basic commands?

The first step is socialization and basic training for puppies. The pups must have had their vaccinations but can start classes as soon as they are allowed to public places usually 2 weeks after the second set of vaccinations, or when the vet advises it is safe. All pups must have been microchipped before they attend class. The chip will be scanned when the pup is enrolled and as part of the test.

Puppy Foundation Training includes

  • Coming when called
  • Staying in one place in the required position e.g. sit
  • Walking nicely on the lead

If successfully completed, the Puppy Foundation Training results in a Kennel Club certificate of achievement.
